Free-end bridge, a fixed restoration with a free-ending pontic. This option is chosen where the tooth to be replaced has no further neighbouring tooth.

Exposing implants, in a two-stage placement the head of the implant is freed from the mucosa covering it once healing is complete (exposure surgery). The implant can then be restored with a crown or bridge, or a denture attached to it.

Front tooth, the incisors and canines of the upper and lower jaw at the front of the mouth.
Functional analysis, a faulty bite and muscular disorders of the chewing muscles or the jaw joints can cause pain in the mouth, jaw, face and neck. A functional analysis establishes the position of the jaws and teeth and how they relate to one another. The result allows dentist and dental technician to plan the necessary therapy precisely.
